Villa con Cuore's alternative education and art program "The Art of Creating You"
is a dive into teaching the next generation of artists and dreamers about discernment,
their creative abilities, connecting to their truth, and finding themselves through art.
What We
Offer
01
Outdoor Stage and Ampitheater
Children will tour the grounds and learn in our stone amphitheater. We include a brief talk on relics, architecture, and art history.

Ceramics Studio
We offer clay play, question and answers with our ceramicist instructor behind the pottery wheel, and learning about ceramics.

Pizza Oven
We are capable of catering events with handmade pizzas from our stone pizza oven, drinks, salads, fruit or charcuterie boards.

Painting Studio
Children learn from the fine art painters of Villa Con Cuore in the studio. They work together on a large mural wall learning new techniques or independently on their own canvas.

Art Galleries
Children will experience our large contemporary art gallery and will be guided on an educational tour through our estate.

Sculpture Gardens, Chapel, and Outdoor Experiences
We will work on activities from our book "The Art of Creating You" amongst our sculptures, avocado trees, lavender, and fountians.
Field Trip Packages
A minimum number of 15 children is required to host a retreat.
1. Painting & Ceramics Day
The "Taste of the Studios" retreat includes a tour of the Villa, the pool area, clay play and a brief workshop in the ceramics studio, tours of the art gallery, the sculpture gardens, the amphitheater, and the chapel, a painting workshop with either individual landscape paintings or a mural wall where everyone has the option to learn painting techniques and have access to our full outdoor painting studio.
Everyone will enjoy their packed lunch in our gardens and outdoor dining areas.

Children take home an artist smock, their canvas painting, and our book "The Art of Creating You : Children's Edition"

2. Painting Studio Day
Our painting studio day is an eye opening experience. It includes a tour of the Villa, the pool area, the ceramics studio, our contemporary art gallery, the sculpture gardens, the amphitheater, and the chapel. All while learning about the plants and sculptures that surround the villa.
Once we arrive in the painting studio, our team of fine artists assist your group in painting a landscape while showing techniques and tools. You can choose if your group works on individual canvas or a collaborative mural.
We then retire to a lunch in our outdoor gardens and dining areas.
After lunch we work from our art book "The Art of Creating You".

3. Ceramics Studio Day
Clay play day! This trip includes a tour of the Villa, the pool area, the painting and art studios, our contemporary art gallery, the sculpture gardens, the amphitheater, and the chapel. Your group will all take place in feeling clay, sculpting, watching the pottery wheel, learning from our fine artists, and taking home a pre-fired piece or a mosaic creation.
After the ceramics studio we have lunch in our outdoor gardens or poolside at our dining tables and work from our book "The Art of Creating You"
Children take home an artist smock, a ceramic creation, and our book "The Art of Creating You : Children's Edition".
